Love it. I think it’s the flashes of red and the muted photo at the top that give it a real bit of something special.
This actually reminds me of the layout of Trent Walton’s site (of which I am a very big and jealous fan). I like the narrow bar that forces your eyes to the content instead of the image. Nice!
